Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Legacy Awards
This baseball awards show is hosted by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and presented by Major League Baseball. It honors the year’s top MLB players, managers and executives with awards in the name of legendary Negro Leagues stars. The event showcases a tremendous lineup of current and former major leaguers each year in addition to entertainment acts featuring national recording artists. A nationally renowned comedian or motion picture actor/actress serves as Master of Ceremonies each year. Recent emcees include Roy Firestone, actor Robert Wuhl and actress Vivica J. Fox. Premier Sports handles the entire design and production of this on-stage, theater event, which has been televised by Comcast.
The Objective
- To salute the top achievements in Major League Baseball each year with a high profile awards event that also helps preserve the heritage of Negro Leagues Baseball and raises funds for the world-class museum.
