American Flag Football League

The American Flag Football League was founded by Jeff Lewis, a native of New York City, who was inspired to launch the league when standing on the sidelines of his son’s flag football game. Wondering what the sport would look like if it was played by the greatest players in the world, Lewis began working to establish the AFFL. The official launch game was held in June 2017 in advance of their inaugural season as a way of kicking off the AFFL’s promotional campaign. The game featured a host of former college and NFL stars including team captains Terrell Owens and Michael Vick, who threw eight touchdown passes in the 64-41 victory over Team Owens.

After signing a deal with NFL Network to televise the later rounds and finals of what would then be called the U.S. Open of Football, the AFFL hired Premier to manage all regional tournaments leading up to the quarterfinals. Premier’s role includes handling all operational aspects of the event both in the pre-planning process and the on-site execution.
